Evaluations are conducted by Julie Angileri, a U.S. board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who approaches this work with respect, warmth, and a deep understanding of the barriers many trans and nonbinary people face.
The process includes:
A supportive, one-on-one conversation focused on your gender history, goals, and needs
Space to discuss your mental health, social context, and any previous care or support
Use of criteria aligned with WPATH guidelines, while centering your autonomy and self-knowledge
No unnecessary gatekeeping—just documentation that helps you access the care you deserve
If appropriate, you'll receive a written letter of support for gender-affirming treatment, customized to meet the requirements of your provider or clinic.
